MuLab XT and MuLab UL User Licenses can be purchased in the
MuLab Free and MuLab XT have a limited number of tracks and MIDI channels, cfr the table above.
If you go beyond one of these limits, you'll regularly get a soft noise alert.
This noise alert only comes when at least one of these conditions is true:
- You're using more tracks than allowed by your license, in any composition in any open session. Sub-tracks are also counted as a track.
- You're using MIDI channels on part level or event level. This may happen, for example, when importing a MIDI file. To check: Right-click track -> Choose MIDI Channel. For detailed info on using MIDI channels, click here.
Note that when going beyond a limit, it may take a little bit of time before the noise appears. Similarly, when returning inside the limits, it may take a little bit of time before the noise disappears.
Of course we hope you'll soon step to a higher MuLab level and thereby give yourself more creative power and at the same time financially support the further development of MuLab.
